Karma Ispat Limited is a Public Limited Company incorporated on 13th August, 1977 under the name of Laxmankumar Birla Trading Private Limited (No.19837 of 1977-78) from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. The name of the Company was subsequently changed to Laxmankumar Birla Trading Limited (No. 19837/TA) on 16th October 1986 and further converted to Scana Color (India) Limited (No. 19837/TA) on 16th October 1986 and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra. It is proposed to change the name of the Company from Scana Color (India) Limited to KARMA ISPAT LIMITED.
